The mission of Sehome High School, a community committed to excellence, is to assure all students will learn and apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for productive citizenship, lifelong learning, and success in the changing workplace, by sharing responsibilities in a quality, student-centered environment. Our objectives are "strategic" in nature and thus remain constant:

• All students will demonstrate our district's Essential Student Learnings prior to graduation.
• All students will understand that what they accomplish in school adds value to their lives now and in the future.

Strategies to reach our objectives:

• Course, unit and lesson outcomes will be developed and implemented in congruence and collaboration with the district's development of Program Outcomes.
• Specific student activities will be identified and implemented which will allow all students to demonstrate the Essential Student Learnings.
• Curriculum and activities will be developed and implemented which have meaning and value to students now and in the future.
• We will create a safe, nurturing school environment for the entire Sehome community.
