Steps to access ParentConnection:

1. Launch the internet and type in the following URL: http://www.bham.wednet.edu/families/families.htm

2. Click ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ to any security alert windows.

3. Click on the words “this link” where you see the following sentence: [Use this link if you are a parent who wants to connect to ParentConnect from your home or from outside the Bellingham district network.]

4. Enter your PIN and password and click on the ‘Logon’ button.

5. The next screen will be the ParentConnection main screen. If you have more than one student, select the student you wish to view. Otherwise the screen will default to your student’s data.

6. Click on the links on the left hand side of the screen to view different types of data.

7. Data viewed in ParentConnection is live and may be updated in real time by the school while you are browsing. New data posted during a session will not be visible until the data page is refreshed. You may refresh a data page by either:

· Clicking on a different tab and then returning to the original tab.

· Pressing the F5 function key on the keyboard.

8. You may send an e-mail to any staff member or specific department whose name is underlined by clicking on the underlined hyperlink.

9. You may change your password or e-mail address by clicking on the ‘Account’ link in the upper right corner of the main screen.

10. The ‘Help’ link can provide you with further information on ParentConnection.

11. Click on the ‘Sign Out’ link when you are finished browsing.
