What is Running Start?
Running Start is a statewide program that provides an opportunity for qualified high school Juniors and Seniors to attend college classes, tuition free, while completing high school.
Student eligibility:
The student must be of Junior status with eleven high school credits and enrolled through their school district.
The student must have passed the placement test offered by the college making him or her eligible to register for college level courses.
Testing:
Students must call to schedule an appointment to take the placement test at the college campus. BTC offers admission testing at Sehome's campus throughout the year. You can find the contact information on the college Running Start web sites listed below. For additional information, please contact Mrs. Zender or the college you wish to attend.
Daily Bulletin
The Sehome bulletin is posted daily on the SHS Web Page. Running Start students are encouraged to check this often to keep updated on the latest activities and information.
