The Zodiac Experience

Each May, Sehome students and teachers participate in an interdisciplinary sailing experience in the San Juan Islands. They lease the 127-ft. Zodiac Schooner, built in 1924. The ship is maintained, and rented to groups by the Zodiac Corporation.

Students who sign up for the trip are required to plan and present a lesson to the group on a specific feature of interest to them about the Northwest Marine environment, geology or history of the Pacific Northwest.

To learn more about the Zodiac or how to participate in the Zodiac experience you can stop by Mr. Hageman's room or email him.
